Terms of Service
Last Updated: August 21, 2025
GENERAL
It is not compulsory, but I highly encourage you to credit me @cionaodh44 when you share the work.
PAYMENTS
- I only accept Paypal and Stripe (via VGen).
- If the commission is less than $100, you need to pay in full before I start.
- For commissions over $100, I request a 50% upfront payment, with the final 50% due after completion.
- A payment plan with 3-4 installments is available only for commissions over $800.
REVISIONS
Revisions can be made free of charge if they are due to my fault or if a detail is different from the reference you provided. Any revision requested outside of the original references will be charged extra.
DEADLINES AND DELIVERY
- 2D work can be finished within a month, while 3D commissions can take about 1-2 months to be finished.
- I may work on several commissions at the same time; work is not strictly first-come, first-served.
- Rush fees need to be discussed beforehand, and I may not always be able to accept rush commissions.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
If you purchase full ownership rights (which costs 2-3 times the total price and must be discussed), you can do anything you want with the artwork. Otherwise, the following terms apply:
- Commercial uses, such as for merchandise or 3D printing, need to be discussed before the commission is started.
- You do not have the right to transfer ownership and copyright to another person without discussing it with me first.
REFUNDS
If a cancellation is initiated by me for any reason, I will provide a 100% refund, and you will receive full ownership rights to any work completed so far.
COMMUNICATION
- You can contact me directly. During the commission, I will share Work-in-Progress (WIPs) for your feedback.
- You can track the current progress through my public Trello board: Cionaodh44's Work Trello.
- You can always DM me to request more WIPs.
- Please keep conversations professional and related to our commission. Avoid asking about personal information or other sensitive topics.
FAQ
How does the 3D Model work?
The 3D Model will be tested to work fine with VRM, Warudo, or as an FBX file. MMD and VRChat support is optional, and I only do a basic setup for it. An extra complexity fee may be charged depending upon the quality of the reference provided or the complexity of the 3D model. Please understand that I can’t copy 100% of your reference, and since it is a 3D model, it might have some clipping problems when you move.
What are your "Do's and Don'ts"?
I don't do mecha, furries, heavy armor, or older people. For NSFW or sensitive content commissions, make sure you are 18 years old. I am not responsible for any problems that occur.
Can I use my commission as my profile picture, banner, or stream asset?
Personal use and streaming is totally fine! Just please credit me if possible. For commercial use (merch, ads, etc.), please discuss licensing with me first.
Will you post my commission publicly?
Unless you request privacy, I may showcase the finished piece in my portfolio or social media. Please let me know beforehand if you’d prefer I keep it private. Privacy for up to 2 months is free; longer than that will incur a "private fee" of 30% of the total price.
Do you offer physical prints or shipping?
Not by default, but I can arrange it if requested. Extra fees for printing and shipping will apply. Currently, I’m in Vietnam, so shipping outside Asia might be expensive.
What happens if I change my mind about the design halfway through?
If it’s just a small detail, revisions are free. If it’s a big change outside of the original scope, there will be extra charges. In general, it’s best to send me a completed scope at the beginning.
Do you keep the original project files (PSD, Blender, etc.)?
I will keep all files for at least 1 year. I don’t usually send source files unless it’s part of our agreement. If you want them, please let me know (an extra fee may apply).
Do you livestream or record the commission process?
Sometimes, yes! If you’re comfortable, I may share progress on stream or post time-lapse videos. Let me know if you’d prefer to keep it private.
What if I need a very specific file format (SVG, OBJ, etc.)?
Please tell me before I start. I can usually export to different formats, but some may require additional adjustments that are better to make from the beginning (For example, a 3D low poly model).
